Recently, Tibet Calligraphists Association held a large gam for local calligraphists and painters in Lhasa.
Themed as "gathering for brush and ink lovers", the gam attracted over 40 Tibetan and Han calligraphists as well as young amateurs in attendence, who presented brilliant show of calligraphy and painting on the site.
The gam was said to provide a good platform to show the erudition of the elder and passion of the young, which would vigorously promote the development of calligraphy and painting in Tibet.
During the gam, participants not only had discussions and exchanges over calligraphy and painting, but also put forward constructive suggestions to the association.
