Students of Pome Middle School are enjoying the annual autumn sports meeting held from Oct. 11 to 13 at Pome County, Nyingchi Prefecture of Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR).
A total of over 1,400 junior and senior high school students attended the grand event.
"Our school was founded in 1974, and it is the only middle school at Pome County. There are about 1200 junior students and over 100 senior students at present. Junior students who finish the nine-year compulsory education can attend key senior high schools, secondary vocational schools or inland high schools. The total enrollment rate of our school can hit 100%, "said Hao Shaojing, who teaches Mandarin at Pome Middle School.
