Tibetan exhibition to show in Japan Sendai City Museum

The Tibetan Art & Archaeology Exhibition will be held in the Sendai City Museum of Japan on April 19 as the last stop in the country.

The exhibition has been shown in the four museums in the country namely the Hokkaido Museum of Modern Art, Ueno Royal Museum and Kyushu National Museum and Osaka Museum of History with the total tourist number hitting 430,000.

As the last stop in Japan, the exhibition will close on June 6.

123 items from the Tibet Museum, Potala Palace, Norbu Linka, Sagya Monastery, Chengde Summer Resort and other cultural units and Tibetan monasteries were exhibited on the exhibition, showcasing the culture, art, and life of Tibetan people to Japanese people. Through the exhibition, Japanese people can get acquainted with Tibetan culture and art and the history and current conditions in the region.
