A symposium was held to mark the first anniversary of the "Serfs' Emancipation Day" in Lhasa, capital of the Tibet Autonomous Region on March 24 and people from literature and art circle recalled the great changes of literature and art causes of Tibet since the Democratic Reform and looked into the beautiful future.

The well-known artists Tubdain and Migmar introduced their growing course and talked about the achievements of Tibetan culture after the Democratic Reform in Tibet.

Since the Democratic Reform in Tibet, the central government has paid much attention to the development and preservation of Tibetan culture by huge investment for infrastructure construction and renovation on temples.
