Basum Co Lake, a lake at an altitude of some 3,700 meters above the sea level in Tibet's Nyingchi Prefecture, is on the list of the World Tourist Organization's top tourist attractions. The blue and limpid lake water and snow-capped mountains around combine into a charming landscape that can be compared with those in Switzerland.
