Nepali FM: Anti-China activities not allowed in Nepal

Nepali Foreign Minister Upendra Yadav said here Saturday that the country sticks to one-China policy and is always against any anti-China activities.

"Nepal has always been supporting the one-China policy, and any kind of anti-China activities is not allowed on the Nepali territory," said Yadav in Lhasa, capital of Tibet Autonomous Region in southwest China.

Yadav made the remark during a meeting with Qiangba Puncog, chairman of the regional government of Tibet on Saturday afternoon.

The Nepali official said Nepal and China have maintained friendly relationship for a long time and extended heartfelt congratulations to Tibet for its rapid economic development in recent years.

He said Nepal and Tibet have witnessed sound cooperation in tourism and hoped the cooperation could be enhanced in the future.

Upendra Yadav arrived in Lhasa Saturday afternoon and will leave for Chengdu, capital of southwest China's Sichuan Province, on Sunday.
