Lhasa environmental protection department currently strengthens the checkup work during Spring Festival and Tibetan New Year and 13 major enterprises meet the pollution discharge standard.

According to staff of the environmental monitor team of the department, none of the 13 major pollution discharge enterprises have been found disqualification and they further request those enterprises to make sure to reduce the noise and dust pollution for local residents to have a peaceful, quiet Spring Festival and Tibetan New Year.
