December 1, China Radio and Television Bureau donated thousands of volumes TV series to Tibet to solve the problem of being lack of programmes for ethnic language channels.

From this year on, 1000-volume TV series will be donated to Tibet by the teleplay production institutions each year.

These years, with the processing of "Tibet & Xinjiang Project", the coverage of TV & broadcast in ethnic areas has been increased a lot. The TV & broadcast coverage in Tibet has amounted to 80 per cent.

After the Tibetan language channel of Tibet TV Station was launched, the broadcasting coverage has reached 83 per cent while the Tibetan language programmes become scantier.
