Making use of festivals and holidays, the No. 75 Hospital of People's Liberation Army carries out various medical services to benefit Tibetans in Chamdo Prefecture of Tibet.
In the past two years, the hospital has provided free medical services for 32,150 Tibetans, handed out 8,620 health care handbooks and donated free medicine worth nearly 1.15 million yuan.
Meanwhile, some doctors make their rounds of visits to the nursing homes and orphanages. Some take medicine and medical services to mountainous villages. Since 2008, over 1,000 lamas have enjoyed medical services and 836 established their own healthcare records.
