A launching ceremony was held for books dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Tibet's peaceful liberation and the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC), as well as series of Tibet-themed books in Lhasa on July 12.

Representatives from all walks of life attended the ceremony and received the books on the scene.

These books not only reveal the great course of Tibet's 60 years since its peaceful liberation in an all-round way, but also reflect the splendid achievements of Tibet's economic and social development from multiple perspectives.

The topics of these books range from collected theories, documentary literature, biography and poetry.

The books show the remarkable accomplishments of Tibet in the past 60 years with facts and accurate data at crucial moments such as Tibet's peaceful liberation in 1951, democratic reform in 1959, socialist construction, reform and opening up, etc.
