A promotional video for the Princess Wencheng epic drama was showed on the big screen in Times Square, New York in the United States, Sept. 8, Beijing Time.
Princess Wencheng is a large-scale live-action epic drama staged every year between April and October in Lhasa, southwest China's Tibet.
Performed by more than 800 people before nearly 4,000 audiences at a time, the drama tells the story of Princess Wencheng's making-peace marriage to the then Tibetan king Songtsen Gampo, and presents the Han and Tibetan culture, folk customs and natural landscapes to the audience.
