11th Panchen Lama holds Buddhist activities in Qinghai
From July 18 to 24, the 11th Panchen Lama Bainqen Erdini Qoigyijabu visited northwest China's Qinghai province and held Buddhist activities there.

The Panchen Lama visited Jiegu Monastery, Gongsar Monastery, Kumbum Monastery, Qinghai Lake, and the Chaka Salt Lake, holding dharma ceremonies, chanting sutras, giving charitable sermons, and touching heads of monks and laypeople to give them blessings.

He also visited the Qinghai Tibetan Buddhism College and held informal discussions with some members from Tibetan Buddhist circles in Qinghai.

Everywhere he went, local monks and laypeople held grand religious ceremonies and folk rituals to welcome the Panchen Lama. The Panchen Lama led them in chanting scriptures and praying for world peace and social harmony.

While conducting research at the Qinghai Tibetan  Buddhism College, the Panchen Lama encouraged students to cherish the opportunity to learn, devote themselves to dharma study, adhere to be patriotic monks who do good for society and the people, and guide the broad masses of Buddhist followers to make positive contributions to national prosperity, ethnic unity, and social harmony.

During the visit, the Panchen Lama also visited Yushu, the General Mu Shengzhong Memorial Hall in Golmud, and the Yangtze River Source Village.
