Pilgrims near Jokhang Temple (I)

It is the peak season of tourism in Lhasa, the capital city of Tibet Autonomous Region. Among the mass tourists, it's  easy to catch the sight of pilgrims paying homage to this holy city of Buddhism.

The following pictures show the Tibetan devotees paying homage to the Jokhang Temple where the statue of Buddha Shakyamuni at his 12-year-old size has been consecrated since the seventh century.
