Nyingchi literally means "throne of the sun" in Tibetan language. Located in the intersection between Himalaya Mountains, Tanggula Mountains and Hengduan Mountains in southeast Tibet, Nyingchi is dubbed as "east Switzerland" and "Yangtse River in the south". The scenery here varies sharply across seasons, each taking on a different look.
