Photo taken on April 9 shows a general view of Nagqu Township of Nagqu Prefecture, north of Tibet. Before the Peaceful Liberation of Tibet in 1951, the Nagqu Township was a natural village circled by several monasteries. During over 60 years’ development, the township saw improving infrastructure, rising population and fast-changing appearance. Currently, its urban construction area has reached 10.3 sq km.
