The local people get considerable profit from tourism in Lulang Town ,Nyingchi prefecture,Tibet,Xinhua News Agency reported.
The Tashigang Village of Lulang Town has gained over two million yuan from tourism last year.
Most of the villagers have participated the specialized cooperatives of agricola,running home inns and selling distinctive agricultural products which have brought lucrative benefit for them.
The scenic remote town aims to build a town of international tourism destination,whose master plan on tourism has been approved by the regional government in 2012.
Besides,a number of 290 million yuan has been invested on hotels’ construction across the town.
The Nyingchi Prefecture has received a total of 2.49 million tourist arrivals from domestic and abroad last year,with the revenue hitting 3.86 billion yuan,accounting for 38.8 percent of the regional gross domestic product.
It promoted the coordination development of various of industries,including the featured husbandry,the hydroelectric powers,the Tibetan medicine,the cultural industry and the ecological tourism.
