Villagers benefit from green power

A wind and solar micro-network project was officially put into use in Lhatse County, Shigatse prefecture of Tibet on Dec. 12. It would provide electricity power for the 71 residents in a village there with an altitude of 4900 meters.

This micro-net consists of three windmills, two battery panels and one storage battery accumulation system and will solve the electricity problems of 22 households. From then on, the village people could enjoy the bright and convenience of the green energy.

The project was invested by Beijing Huadian Tianren Electric Power Control Engineering Co., Ltd.
