Walking on the Barkor Street, it is so often to see Tibetan women wearing woolen aprons in front of their knees, the bright colors make it like a rainbow, which illuminates the whole street.

The rainbow-like woolen apron is called "bangdian", which refers to the woven woolen aprons commonly used by Tibetan people. They can serve decoration and cold proof purposes.

The Tibetans have long been famed for their centuries-old craftsmanship of woolen weaving, with "bangdian" as typical representative styles.
