"Steps in Tibet", a themed personal exhibition of print paintings by famous Chinese painter Li Xiaoke, was on show in the Art Museum of Beijing Fine Art Academy on Nov. 13, 2011.

This exhibition is presented by Li Xiaoke as a tribute to mark the 60th anniversary of the peaceful liberation of southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region.

The exhibition displays about one hundred print paintings, which are all created based on Li Xiaoke's photography works taken in Tibet during the past over twenty years. Print painting is a new art technique that integrates printing with documentary photography and endows the works with new art expressions.

The exhibition is scheduled to last from Nov. 13 to Nov. 21, 2011.
