Jiuzhai Valley presents amazing view to naked eye

Eulogized as a world of magical fairytales, Jiuzhai Valley in the  the Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, has for years enchanted tourists with its mountains and luxuriant forests, colorful lakes, gushing waterfalls and abundant wildlife.

Autumn is the best season to visit the Jiuzhai Valley as the leaves turn color and strike a lively contrast with its clear and emerald waters, looking like a spilled paint pallette. Water in the lakes is clear and transparent, presenting pebbles, waterweeds and dead twigs to the naked eye.

In 1992, it was added to UNESCO's World Heritage List.

During the recent National Day holidays (Oct.1-7), 176,000 toursits visited the area, an 80% increase over last year.

Transportation to the Jiuzhai Valley is easy. Direct flights provide access from a number of big cities to the area. Air tickets with discounts are provided especially in the off season which lasts from November to March.
