Suzhou Univeristy sets up scholarship in Chamdo

Recently, Gyamda No.1 School in Chamdo prefecture held the opening ceremony of "Huihan" branch campus of Suzhou University and the signing ceremony of "Huihan scholarship".
Both sides agreed that Suzhou University set up " Huihan" scholarship in Gyamda No.1 School. Suzhou University would subsidize 90 excellent students from needy families and each student would receive 1000 yuan each year. The first batch of scholarship amounted to 90,000 yuan.
It is reported that this is the third Huihan branch campus of Suzhou University. "Huihan" means favoring stdents from needy families.
