Beauty and charm of the Potala Palace

The Potala Palace is the highest building in Lhasa and also a geographical indication for the city. The palace, which was built in the 7th centaury AD, stands at the roof of the world magnificently, showing the wisdom and great creation of ancient Tibetan people, and presenting Tibet's past and present.

The Potala Palace has its unique charm and temptation. For decades, I've walked around the palace for many times. I witnessed the beauty of the Potala Palace in four seasons and experienced its mystery in dawn and dusk. I also recorded her wonder in countless moments with the camera in my hands.

When I traveled in Tibet again in 2011, I couldn't help but take up my camera at the Potala Palace once more. Now I've selected several pictures to share with readers and show the the beauty and charm of the highest palace on earth.
