They that sow in tears shall reap in joy

The golden autumn is the happiest time for farmers in northwest China. Today we focus on the Tibetan farmers whose hard work is rewarded with bountiful harvests in Southwest China.

They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

The following are pictures are the convincing arguments for this saying, showing the golden barley fields, the industrious Tibetan farmers and the bountiful harvests.

As one of the major agricultural counties in Tibet, the Lhundrup County has taken efforts to adjust the industrial structure and meanwhile increase the technological input in agriculture in recent years.

As a result, 90% of the planting fields are cultivated with planting machinery.

And it is expected that the barley output in Lhundrup County shall hit a new record to reach 50 million kilograms.
