Beijng, Sept. 9 (China Tibet Online) -- A contemporary oil painting exhibition themed on Tibet is scheduled to kick off on September 17 at the National Art Museum of China in Beijing.
Titled "Glamour Tibet", the exhibition will display a total of 112 outstanding works from 30 top Chinese oil painters, covering a wide range from the daily life of Tibetan people, landscape, culture to religion and so on.
Among the painters, ten are local Tibetans.
Moreover, another 12 masterpieces which have never made its public appearances by the first prestigious generation of Chinese oil painters will make their first debut at the exhibition.
The show will be open until September 27.
The exhibition is sponsored by the Beijing Pro-Public Culture Co.Ltd. and jointly organized by the Painting Academy of China and the Information Office of the People's Government of the Tibet Autonomous Region.
