Located in Ngari Prefecture of Tibet, Burang County situates in the valley of Mt. Namuabi and Mt. Nemonanyi--the 'Peacock Mount River'. Burang County, at an altitude of 4,755 metres, is surrounded by holy lakes and mountains, absorbing thousands of Buddhist believers from every direction. Going on a pilgrimage is a main part of the Burang people, who regard the Mt.Kangrinboqe as an august father and Mapham Yutso as a kind mother.
