In a spacious and bright training room, several young women are concentrated on basic dancing skill drilling. They are students of the Art College, Tibet University.

Founded in 1985, the college has merged with the Tibet University in 2000 as one of its major departments. Now, over 800 art students have graduated from this college and started their careers in different art groups or schools. Most of them have become backbones of the art institutions and given many good performances, which have enriched the local cultural life.
