A children's Peking Opera titled "Tibetan Antelope" was performed Saturday in Beijing, highlighting themes of humanity, relationship between man and nature as well as man and animals.

The opera, as one of the programs for the recent 4th Minorities Art Festival of China, attracted local audiences together with their children.

The opera added modern elements to traditional Peking Opera and  was highlighted by 3 children actors as leading roles, which was co-produced by the provincial art theaters of northwest China's Qinghai Province and southeast Zhejiang Province.
