Finger of a furrowed hand is pointed at the styled characters on a ragged paperyellow page of ancient Tibetan Buddhism classics. Farther in the picture, a keyboard to a computer is placed on the table.

Groups of professionals from both academies or monasteries have been organized on enhanced preservation of ancient Tibetan classics, part of the millenniums old Tibetan culture, more widely implemented with modern tools or through advanced approaches.

Reports say that such preservation initiatives are funded by the central and regional government on a large part, while monasteries and folk communities also show great enthusiasm in participation.
