To celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Peaceful Liberation of Tibet, the government of Ngari prefecture held a photo contest named "Ngari: mysterious land of western Tibet" during Sept. 26 to Oct. 10. It attracted many photographers or those who were deeply enchanted by Ngari, and a lot of wonderful works were collected to present the unique landscape and culture of the region.
