Located on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau 4,500 meters above sea level, Qinghai Lake is the largest lake in China covering an area of over 4,500 square kilometers. It is well known for its fascinating scenery and diversified wild animals on its grassy shores.

With increasing protection efforts by the governments of all levels, Qinghai Lake has kept a good ecological environment as a paradise for wild animals.
