Diversiform thangka paintings on exhibition in Tibet, SW China

Thangka enthusiasts may find another chance to indulge themselves in appreciating more creative and arstistcially fabulous thangka paintings now in southwest China's Tibet as the 2011 thangka culture and art exhibition was officially openned last Friday.

Here follows some zoom-in pictures of the fine and delicate expressions through thousands-of-years old art form which features distinctive Tibetan buddhist or cultural themes.
