Mystery of Sagya scripture wall to be uncovered

The wall of scripture in Sagya Monastery is 60 meters long and 10 meters high. According to lamas in the monastery and local experts on historical relics, this wall contains an estimated 84,000 scriptures. But their detailed content is unknown yet. Overall maintenance project of three key historical relics in Tibet kicked off in June, 2002, and Sagya Monastery is included. It's a good chance to have a better knowledge of the wall. Relevant experts have been organized to put the scriptures in catalogue order.
