On Tibetan calendar, April 1st (June 2) is the first day of traditional Sagya Dawa Festival, which will last for 15 days. It was said April 15 on Tibet calendar is Sakyamuni's day of birth, Nirvana and becoming a Buddha.

Flows of believers will participate in various activities to pray for their peaceful and happy life by taking ritual walks, giving alms, burning aromatic plants and freeing captive animals.

During the festival, there are much more Buddhist believers holding Prayer wheels for worships.
