A grand original primitive song and dance performance was put on at the performance hall of the Tibetan Opera Troupe, May 14, showing the mysterious charm of traditional Tibetan culture and folk customs with the art form of Thangka.

The show "Happiness on the road" that describes the modern life of Tibetan lamas has been listed into the first batch of "National key project of culture and tourism" by the National Tourism Bureau and the Ministry of Culture.

Thangka is a Tibetan silk painting with embroidery, usually depicting Buddhist themes, landscapes, or religious events.
