"The Medog County will be no longer mysterious after it opens to traffic," said Chodron, a local Moinba girl. Medog County is an important region where the Moinba nationality of China lived in compact community.

Medog is situated in the southeast of China's Tibet Autonomous Region and the lower reaches of the Yarlung Zangbo River. There is no other place in Tibet that gets so many titles as Medog, such as the "secret lotus", "lonely island on the plateau", Tibet's "Xishuangbanna", "world's wildlife museum" and "rare animal gene pool".

In recent years, exploring travel in Medog which mainly based on pedestrianism and self-driving has become a fashion. Some people even consider travelling in Medog can purify their mind and ascend their dreams. According to the official statistics, by the end of September 2013, Medog had received tourists with a total number of over 40,000 person-times.

Chodron now works in a museum which displays the culture of Moinba and Lhoba nationalities, where she receives several tourist groups every day.
