Tibetan landscape inspires artists

Shanghai Tang recently presented its fall/winter 2012 collection "Dragon Plateau'' which takes us on a journey through the awe-inspiring landscapes and the impressive cultural heritage of the Tibetan highlands.

The women's collection evokes the life and nature of mountains with iconic animal prints. The contemporary tiger print takes its inspiration from traditional Tibetan rugs.

The men's collection cuts through the fuss in fashion with strictly minimal pieces featuring clean lines in a muted palette of greys, khakis and olive tones. For the festive season, the cotton velvet jacket now comes in Tibetan red.
