Female Tibetan antelopes have returned to their regular habitat after giving birth near Zonag Lake in Hoh Xil in Northwest China's Qinghai Province.
On Saturday, the scientific expedition spotted the first batch of around a thousand antelopes and their newborns at the bank of the Chumar River.
Going through the river is the only way for Tibetan antelopes to reach their final destination. They moved slowly along the river as the area is abundant in grassland and water, making it a convenient place for them to rest. The antelopes will also have to cross the Qinghjai-Tibet Highway and Railway to reach their home.
