China's first public welfare Tibetan TV drama Lost Happiness made its debut on Qinghai Tibetan Satellite TV channel during the Tibetan New Year of 2014, People.cn reported.
Co-produced by the Qinghai Broadcasting TV Station and the broadcasting and TV station of Haixi Mongol-Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Qinghai Province, the public interest TV drama calls for public attention to maternal and child healthcare and Aids-prevention via a story of a Tibetan couple.
The TV drama is endowed by the Tibetan Medical College of Qinghai University. The cast is all composed of local Tibetan volunteers working in the fields of medical service, culture and so forth.
Different from stereotyped advertising videos of Aids-prevention, the TV drama publicized the general knowledge and raised the awareness of the locals through vivid stories in order to attract the audiences.
