Lhasa : one of 45 places in world to go in 2012

The New York Times listed 45 most charming places in the world to travel , they are:

Panama,Helsinki,Myanmar,London,Oakland, Tokyo,Tanzania,Chilean Patagonia,Lhasa,Havana,Moscow,Glasgow,Puebla,San Diego,HalongBay,Florence,St.Vincent,Moganshan,Birmingham,Space,Kerala,Paraty,Koh,Rong,Vienna ,Chattanooga,Dakhla,Maldives,Malacca,The Algarve,Tahoe,Wales,Antarctica,Uganda,Ukraine,Samaná Peninsula,Dubrovnik,Chiloé Island,Jordan,Crans-Montana, Montpellier,Nosara,South Korea,Lodz, Dalarna,Portovenere.

Among them, China's Tibet wins travelers' heart by its unique cutlure as well as beautiful scenery.

According to the New York Times,“The majestic, 162-room St. Regis Lhasa Resort has been in full operation since May. In 2010, a charming Tibetan-owned villa called the Lingtsang reopened as a boutique hotel with opulent, colorful woodwork and courtyard verandas. And coming soon are the sprawling InterContinental Resort Lhasa Paradise and the 284-room Shangri-La, both scheduled to open in 2013. ”

 "It’s the first time that travelers can get high-end amenities" in Tibet of China, and travelers from all over the world are welcome to visit a charming and mysterious Tibet.
