A Tibetan guy named Legpa made up his mind to win the champion next time when he finished third at the recent 3rd Tibet snooker individual competition.

The billiard sports started on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in the early 1980s. At that time, Tibetans looked at it with a curious look, but it has presently become a kind of daily exercise in Tibet from its farming and pastoral areas, to Lhasa's shopping streets and old town and even in common Tibetans' homes.

"I can earn over 1,000 yuan a day and decide to add more billiard tables in the summer peak season," said a Tibetan girl. She opened a billiard saloon in Lhasa with a try attitude three years ago but she has achieved unexpected success.
