Organized by the State Council Information Office, the Tibetan Cultural Exchange Delegation of China started the two-day visit in New York.
During the visit, the delegation will have two communication discussion with experts from the East Asia Institute of Colombia University and the Tibetan Studies Institutes of Rubin Museum. A press conference will be held to introduce the economical and social development of Tibet.
In addition, the delegation will have extensive discussion with people from all walks of life on topics including policies on regional autonomy of ethnic groups, religion, education, language, and the culture preservation of Tibet.
